It is with great pleasure that we announce that Sykes Pumps International (UK) Ltd and Ali M.TH. Alghanim & Sons General Trading w.l.l. (a member of Ali Alghanim & Sons Group of Companies) have signed a renewed and exclusive Distributor Partnership Agreement for the territory of Kuwait.
This renewed agreement was signed with Ali M.TH. Alghanim & Sons General Trading w.l.l. during a recent visit to Kuwait and represents the re-launch of our local pump supply solution for Sykes dewatering pumps and the full range of Sykes dewatering pump accessories.
The market in Kuwait is forecast to continue growing in coming years on the back of increased spending on utility networks, roads infrastructure and building of more residential and industrial zones. By signing this new agreement, the strong relationship between Sykes Pumps and Ali Alghanim & Sons Heavy Equipment is reinforced further and we will continue to forge a closer working partnership to serve the increased demand for dewatering pumps sales, pump hire and pump accessories in Kuwait.
Ian Atkinson from Sykes UK, highlighted that, “Recently more pump suppliers have entered into Kuwait either through cross-border sales or through local distributors offering basic pump specifications with limited after sales support. However, the Sykes/Ali Alghanim distributor partnership is different – we offer the extended life Sykes UK pumps into Kuwait with a comprehensive spare parts and service back-up through Ali Alghanim & Sons Heavy Equipment”.
