Middle EastIn order to pump ‘Dirty Water’, this requires specialist dewatering pump expertise.
Due to the reputation of Khansaheb Sykes and our broad range of pumping solutions, the client was able to award this contract with confidence – knowing that the job would get done quickly and professionally.
In order to commission a newly constructed sewage treatment plant, fluid from an existing operational plant (some 10km away) had to be pumped though an existing pipe network into the new plant.
To achieve the required flow, a 12” dewatering pump with a pumping capacity of 1000m3/h was set to work.
The route of the intended discharged water (prior to the outlet chamber) was through an existing green belt area, therefore, to protect this area a 12” PVC pipe extending 1km in length was used to protect the environment.
Once again Khansaheb Sykes have delivered not only the optimal pumping solution but also have managed this requirement whilst respecting and protecting the environment.
